Thanks for your interest in FDM 202: Advanced FDM maintenance!
This is the fourth and final FDM 3D printing workshop for the University of Wyoming Engineering Student Innovation Center (EERBSIC) makerspace, and teaches you how to maintain and even fix our desktop FDM machines. You'll need to attend at least one 100-level FDM course, as well as FDM 201: Troubleshooting common 3D printing problems before you can take this course. By the end of the brief 45 minute workshop, you should have a firm understanding of how to service and maintain our fleet of desktop FDM printers
Please make sure to enroll in the Makerspace Badge Training Program and complete one FDM 100-level course, as well as FDM 201: Troubleshooting common 3D printing problems before you enroll in FDM 202. You can use your badges to track what you've learned, show potential employers, and (after earning enough badges) even receive fun perks like discounted or free material use, after-hours access, and even an invitation to participate and vote as part of the Makerspace Community Subcommittee. Almost all of our equipment requires training and badges before use.
