This is the first laser cutting workshop for the University of Wyoming Engineering Student Innovation Center (EERBSIC) makerspace, and teaches you how to use the Pro Series 36x24 CO2 laser cutter to cut wood, paper, or acrylic at our state-of-the-art makerspace! You'll need to attend this course before you can use any laser cutter at the EERB SIC unsupervised. LAS101 covers laser cutting basics, applications, laser cutter anatomy and operation -- including materials and software.
