Looking to learn Python, but don't know where to start? This workshop will cover the fundamentals of Python, including syntax, data types, variables, and writing a basic script. In addition, a brief overview of external libraries will be given along with how to import them for use in your projects

We will have laptops available for use in the DSC with Jupyter and Python already installed. If you plan on using your own machine, please come ready to participate having completed one of the following options:

•    Sign up for Google Colab: https://colab.google/
•    Install Anaconda: https://www.anaconda.com/download
•    Install Conda with the latest version of Python and the following additional packages: Jupyter, Matplotlib, Numpy, Pandas: https://www.anaconda.com/download
