In this learning community for Graduate Teaching Assistants, we’ll explore best practices for teaching college students and provide support as you begin, or prepare to begin, teaching.
Using James Lang’s book Small Teaching as our primary text, we’ll discuss evidence-based approaches to creating an engaging, impactful learning environment for a diverse population of students.
Books and lunch provided, as well as a $250 scholarship for attending at least five of the six meetings.
