This workshop will introduce the core concepts behind High Performance Computing and the various services that ARCC provides. Topics to be covered during the workshop include:

  • ARCC (HPC Center) Mission and Services

  • Clusters available through ARCC and NWSC

  • What is HPC?

  • HPC and Cluster Architecture

  • Different Types of Storage

No experience with high-performance computing is required to attend this workshop.
