Text Editors in Linux In-Person

This workshop will introduce how to use the vim command-line text editor within a Linux environment. It will cover the basics on opening and updating a text file, how to navigate around the text, and how to search for terms. After the workshop, participants will have the skills to use a text editor to create basic scripts. Participants are expected to have an intro level of experience using Linux from the command line. If you'd like more Linux experience, please register for our Intro to Linux workshop earlier in the day!
