Prusa i3 MK3 [MESSIER 106] Model Prusa i3 MK3S

The Prusa i3 MK3S is an excellent intermediate desktop FDM printer that prints in a wide array of different materials. The Prusa i3 MK3S was voted the "Best 3D printer" according to All3DP.com and MAKE: Magazine, where the MK3S also received "Editor's Choice" as the highest-rated 3D printer in 2019 Digital Fabrication Guide. The MK3S features a rebuilt extruder, numerous sensors, and various smart features. Plus it offers a new magnetic MK52 heatbed with replaceable PEI spring steel print sheet.

Printing on this machine costs $0.04 per gram, and makers are expected to set up build plates, operate the machine, and remove the 3D print themselves.

Our machines are first come, first serve. Once you've met the three requirements above, you can book a machine online. If you would like to get more info on learning how to use the machine yourself, contact the Makerspace Coordinator Tyler Kerr at tkerr1@uwyo.edu.
